Greek Green Award 2019

During the ceremony of Greek Green Awards 2019, the Municipality of Glyfada won the Public
Environmental Awareness Campaign Award, based on their campaign for informing their citizens
about waste sorting and the free disposal of our company’s bins in order to raise awareness and
increase recycling activity.

The award was given to the Mayor of Glyfada Municipality Mr. Giorgos Papanikolaou and Vice Mayor Mrs. Anna Kafka by the President of the Central Union of Municipalities of Greece Mr. Giorgos Patoulis.
